Letter of Recommendation.

I need to retract my second to last post. I am not having a bad day, at least anymore. My bestie in ATL is having an awful day, thanks to the Economy! She's been working for months, and today she got the worst news of her life. She now joins me in the unemployment pool.

I need to rave about her for a good five minutes, and not in a creepy way, but I think she's amazing, gosh darnit, I think she's fabulous (eat your hearts out future employers). First of all, she has an impeccable fashion sense. If I could pick one closet in Chi O to raid, it would be hers, time and time again. And, my goodness, her shoe collection could have their own exhibit at the MoMa.

Second, she's one of the most honest people I know. You can seriously ask the girl anything, and she will tell you the truth, straight-up (just how I like my cock-tails). "Girl, you need a belt to cinch the waist on that dress." or "Girl, your muffin top is spilling over your jeans." I can always count on her for her honesty, and that's a hard trait to come by with a friend. Thank you for that, Lauren. You brought a breath of fresh air and constructive criticism to my life for three years, and I miss you terribly for that.

Lastly, if I could pick anyone to design and decorate my house, it would be this chic. After all, she did survive UF's 'architorture' school, and I would happily live in any one of her model buildings that she so meticulously constructed on the Chi O dining room tables (our house mom just loved her for this). But, one day, when she revamps our sorority house, I'm sure Susan Willis will be happier than a grandma in an antique shop.

All in all, Lauren is a wonderful person. She can make one mean, teeth-cleaning margarita (sweet & sour mix, anyone?) and her laugh is as infectious the flu. So hire her, pick her, choose her, love her because it will be the best decision of her life.

Love and Lipstick,
Emz

Any way I can get Lauren to NY and help me decorate my apartment? I know it would be way below an architecture degree but...
