Just another manic monday.

I haven't even had my morning coffee yet, and it's noon! I shot out of bed this morning and immediately headed to the couch. I've been at it for several hours, and so far today, I've applied to event planning jobs, administrative assistant jobs, non-profit jobs, and a couple writing jobs.

I just want to scream from a mountain top: HIRE ME! PICK ME! CHOOSE ME! LOVE ME! This usually happens every time I check my e-mail account and the only messages in my inbox, read: "Thank you for your interest. We will let you know in the next few weeks." Or my personal favorite: "Thank you so much for your interest, but unfortunately we are not hiring at this time. In fact, we just had to lay off several of our employees." It's like their trying to rub it in. 

Grr. I'm a tad frustrated today, but I am not giving up. I think I'm going to take a break, have my caffeine fix, and hopefully I will be in a better mood to get back at my (at times) never-ending quest to find a j-o-b.
