You know those friends who you may not see for over a year, but when you reunite it's like no time has passed at all? I feel so lucky to have those. My sorority sisters and friends I met in college have known me for four years, and I'm blessed to have found a group of strong women I can forever call my best friends, and future bridesmaids.
However, no one knows me better than the girls I grew up with in Tampa, and the girls I met my sophomore year in high school. They may not know it, but those women forever changed my life. I have noticed a pattern that when I make new friends, they always in someway remind me of them. I guess, in a friend, I want to feel as comfortable as I do with my friends back home. I have felt a sort of nostalgia these last few days, because I know it is the last time in our lives when we will be cities apart. We soon will be states and worlds apart. But no matter what, I know I have friends for life and if I'm lucky, just a plane ride away....
To my besties (the women who helped shape who I am today):
Thank you for being the best friends in the world.
I love you girls with all my heart and can't wait to see what the future has in store for all of us.
