This weekend started off with a BANG. Alisha, one of my besties since Freshman year at UF, came in on the China Town bus at 8 PM. We came back to my cousins, got ready for the night and met up with Bevin (one of my fave sorority sisters) at her friends apartment, had a couple drinks and headed out for the night.
I had never met some of her friends before, but they took us to one of their favorite places--Tenjune. "Ever heard of it?" They asked. "Um, are you kidding? I ALWAYS read about Tenjune in Us Weekly." I was so anxious to get there and had an imaginary pen and paper in my hand the whole night documenting every little detail. We waited outside the velvet rope for their buddy to let us in. The bouncer looked Bevin, Alisha and I up and down for a few seconds each, and I guess we passed his test, because before we knew it the rope was unhooked and we were in.
We danced the night away, until we were literally the last people on the dance floor, and ended the night eating room service at the Waldorf Astoria in plush, white bathrobes while sipping champagne and overlooking Park Avenue. I'm telling you I only have nights like this with Alisha. It was an episode right out of The Hills, too bad we didn't have a camera crew following us around all night.
(Oh yah AND the Gators won!!!!! The pic above is me and Lish decked out in orange & blue circa Nov. '07 for UF/FSU Gameday)
